Obviously when modding your motor there will be questions you want answered from the people supplying the goodies. Here's a list of the questions that we get asked most frequently. If you can't find an answer to your question here, then feel free to drop us a line and ask.

Q. What size tube are the car cages made from?
A. Either 42mm or 51mm Polished Aluminium or Stainless Steel

Q. Why aluminium?
A. Aluminium looks great in the car and is light weight. Giving you trick looks without the loss of performance a heavy steel roll cage can create.

Q.Why Stainless Steel?

A. Again stainless steel looks great, but has the advantage of being stronger. It will also require less car i.e. polished/cleaning.

Q. Are the cages F.I.A. approved?
A. No - these cages are designed solely for looks and style

Q. Is there any difference to the car once I have fitted the cage?
A. Yes - even though the cage is made from aluminium it will still dramatically improve the stiffness and rigidity of the vehicle shell. This will allow the car to turn in better, deminish the dreaded scuttle shake and give much improved handling

Q. How are they made?
A. All cages are hand built by coded welders using high tech TIG welding techniques

Q. Why are they so cheap compared to other cages I have seen?
A. We keep our overheads low and pass these savings on to you

Q. Do you make other stuff?
A. Yes - we also create strut braces, radiators, inter-coolers, fuel tanks, turbo heat shields and one off componants to your own specification.

Q. Is the cage a permenant fitting?
A. No - if you sell your motor you can remove the cage if you want

Q. Will the cage protect me in an accident?
A. These cages are not sold as safety equipment - the cage is sold purely as a visual enhancement for your motor

Q. How hard is it to fit, and how long will it take?
A. The average modder will be able to sort this install with basic tools in about an hour, if you are able to order the Seat Belt Mounted cage you are looking at only twenty minutes!

Q. Will you fit the cage for me?
A. Well yeh.

Q. Even if I paid you?
A. They are very straight forward to fit. If you really feel unable to fit your cage you can contact us and we will arrange a fitting session for you (this will of course incur additional costs to you).
